About the artist
Hi, I'm Barbara.
I paint florals, landscapes, and birds in acrylic, building layers of color and texture with palette knives in my Madison, Wisconsin studio. This journal is where I share what happens between the first brushstroke and the finished piece—the inspiration, creative process, discoveries, and little moments that make each painting unique.
At the same time, my love for creativity extends far beyond the canvas. As an Amazon Influencer, I enjoy discovering and sharing products that bring beauty, inspiration, convenience, and a little extra joy to everyday life. Through Barbara’s Finds, I share thoughtfully selected favorites—from kitchen essentials and home décor to gardening tools, beauty products, seasonal treasures, and creative discoveries.
My recommendations are inspired by my personal interests, experiences, and appreciation for products that combine beauty with practicality. Some are tried-and-true favorites I personally use and love, while others are exciting discoveries I believe are worth sharing.
Creative Womanhood is where art meets everyday living—a place to celebrate creativity, explore new ideas, discover wonderful finds, and make ordinary moments a little more extraordinary.
Whether you're here for artistic inspiration, a peek inside my studio, or recommendations for your home and lifestyle, I'm delighted to have you along for the journey.
Until next time, keep creating, keep discovering, and finding joy in the everyday!
With love and creativity,
Barbara
